Waterfront location

Located right on Hobart’s waterfront, just a minutes walk from the city centre, we are the ultimate waterfront destination for your wedding.

With our prime waterfront location, Waterline Lounge Bar & Eatery is the ideal starting point for exploring Hobart’s waterfront activities. From harbour cruises, ferries to MONA, Salamanca Market to leisurely strolls by the water.

Waterline Lounge Bar & Eatery

Our waterfront event venue has a covered al fresco deck – perfect for post-wedding drinks and cocktails.

But if al fresco is not your vibe Waterline’s stylish inside restaurant and lounge bar has scenic waterfront views from expansive windows.

The deck at the front of the venue is available for your ceremony subject to licensing and council approval.

Waterline is available as an exclusive venue from 5pm.

Our restaurant seats up to 100 guests and stands up to 180.

The berthing deck seats 250 and stands up to 500.

Theming & Styling

Are you ready to elevate your wedding to new heights of sophistication and style? At Waterline, we believe that every celebration deserves a touch of magic, and that’s exactly what our theming and styling services bring to your wedding.

Day to day, Waterline Lounge Bar & Eatery is filled with floral and greenery arrangements, which makes your styling plan easy. All existing restaurant furniture is included. Table pieces, overhangs and any other floral are available at an extra cost. You may, of course, bring your own table centrepieces. Or our in-house stylists can work with you to create an unforgettable wedding theme.

We are innovative and committed to providing your guests with a culinary event that will succeed your expectations. Focusing on fresh, locally sourced produce, our cooking techniques touch on fermentation, smoking, curing, preserving, fire licked meats, seafood and vegetables.
