The restaurant has a covered al fresco deck – perfect for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails.

But if al fresco is not your vibe Waterline’s stylish inside restaurant and lounge bar has scenic waterfront views from expansive windows..

Our restaurant seats up to 100 guests and stands up to 180.

Waterline Berthing Deck

A spacious waterfront setting designed for larger celebrations and unforgettable occasions.

With sweeping views across the River Derwent and plenty of room for guests to mingle, dine, dance and enjoy the atmosphere, the Berthing Deck is an impressive setting for Christmas parties, EOFY celebrations, cocktail events, product launches, corporate functions, networking events and private celebrations.

The Berthing Deck stands up to 500 guests cocktail-style, making it one of Hobart’s standout waterfront event spaces for larger groups.

Waterline Private Dining Space

Set on Brooke Street Pier with views across the River Derwent, the terrace combines the atmosphere of waterfront dining with the comfort and privacy of a dedicated space for you and your guests.

With the terrace reserved exclusively for your event, your group can settle in over great food and drinks while enjoying one of Hobart’s most distinctive waterfront settings.

Are you ready to elevate your event to new heights of sophistication and style? At Waterline, we believe that every celebration deserves a touch of magic, and that’s exactly what our theming and styling services bring to the table.

Day to day, Waterline Lounge Bar & Eatery is filled with floral and greenery arrangements, which makes your styling plan easy. All existing restaurant furniture is included. Table pieces, overhangs and any other floral are available at an extra cost. You may, of course, bring your own table centrepieces. Or our in-house stylists can work with you to create and unforgettable event theme.
